Beautiful lithograph from Constant's New Babylon series. Year: 1963. Work dimensions: H40 x w75.5 cm. The total edition was 60 pieces. No: d8 (listed on portfolio sheet). The lithographs themselves were not signed. The signed cover page from the portfolio is signed by Constant and Simon Vinkenoog and is included. The portfolio folder is also included with this lot. This map says "New Babylon". See picture. Literature: Constant Graph: no. 34 The Kunstmuseum in The Hague houses a permanent exhibition about Constant's New Babylon project. When purchased, the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande (near The Hague (Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The period for collection, if paid in advance, is very long, in other words the buyer can collect the work weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the above-mentioned cities or the beach.
