Panaite Chifu , born May 24, 1953 in Silistea Gumesti (Romania) is a Romanian sculptor and painter.
-Education: Institutul de Arte Plastice “N.Grigorescu”: the Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest. He graduated from the Sculpture Department in 1979.
A statue of Panaite Civu stands in the Burg. HG van Kempensingel in Woerden (see the 13th photo).
