It is an interesting historical souvenir, an object of royalist propaganda from the late 19th century.

This is a portrait of Henri d'Artois, Duke of Bordeaux and better known by the title of Count of Chambord, also a claimant to the throne of France under the title of Henry V.

This prince is the famous "prodigy", son of the Duke of Berry and grandson of Charles X. He was born in 1820 after the assassination of his father, when the Duchess of Berry was already pregnant. The Count of Chambord was the Legitimist pretender who opposed the party of Orléans. He lived in exile from 1830 to 1871 and is still remembered in history for having refused the Restoration offered to him in 1873 because of his attachment to the white flag and his refusal of the tricolour flag.

The whole is in excellent condition. Beautiful collector's item.
