From 1888 he studied at the Munich Academy and at the private painting school of Anton Ažbe. After his studies, the artist worked for several years as a glass painter in Innsbruck and Speyer. Huber-Sulzemoos was an honorary member of the KStV Rhenania Innsbruck in the KV since the end of the 1920s.
