Drawing by this famous Antwerp painter. This was purchased at an auction by the auction house Campo & Campo. According to the curator of the Van Mieghem Museum, the drawing comes from a sketchbook from 1899. Many of these sketches can be found in various books by Erwin Joos. In 1930 after EVM's death, his son inherited the studio and stamped all the drawings. The fact that the drawing is not signed by hand is of little importance in this case.
