Christiaan de Moor (1899-1981), Christiaan Nicolaas Everhardus (Chris) was a Dutch artist and stamp designer. He went to study at the Academy of Fine Arts and Technical Sciences in Rotterdam with Alexander van Maasdijk. After 1966, De Moor went to live and work in Italy. He painted, drew and watercoloured portraits, figures, still lifes and landscapes. Initially he did this in the style of business realism, later (after 1945) more in the style of abstract expressionism. He is considered to belong to the New Hague School.
