Wilhelm Adolf Julius Mühlhan (born 21 November 1886 in Hannover; † 16 April 1956 in Hamburg) was a painter and graphic artist known in Northern Germany. He was a pupil of Otto Hamel and lived in Hamburg. After the Second World War he lived with his wife Paula Pech, whom he had married in 1911, in the countryside of Hamburg-Ochsenwerder. Mühlhan mainly painted views of Hamburg and landscapes from Northern Germany, but also motifs from France and portrait paintings. In 1919 he had an exhibition of his works in the Hamburger Kunsthalle.
The Inner Alster is one of two artificial lakes within the city limits of Hamburg, Germany, formed by the Alster River.
