Society Teisterbant

When the Haarlemse Sociëteit Teisterbant was founded, the aim was for it to become an association of art practitioners, art lovers and those interested in art. In the club building on the Grote Markt, members could attend literary evenings, chanson evenings, music evenings, film evenings and chess matches. In 2009 the New Teisterbant Artists' Society was founded. Just like the old association, Nieuw Teisterbant holds its meetings in restaurant Brinkmann.
