Art Circle Kyra

The founders of Kunstkring Kyra wanted more attention for artists from their own region, namely Northern and Central Limburg. They especially wanted contemporary art to be featured. Half a year after the establishment of Kunstkring Kyra, merger talks were already being held. Kunstkring Kyra merged with the Free Expression Foundation to form De Vrije Academie, which has been called Kunstencentrum Venlo en Omstreken since 2005.
