Art group Wassenaar

Kunstgroep Wassenaar is an association for professional visual artists that arose in the early 1970s when a group of visual artists in Wassenaar united to give substance to the art policy of the municipality. They wanted to make visual art in Wassenaar accessible to a wider audience. This is how the Association for Visual Artists of Wassenaar came into being, now known as the Wassenaar Art Group. The art group has its own gallery in a restored mill. Every month an exhibition is organized where work by members and guest exhibitors is shown.
