La Jeune Peinture Belge

La Jeune Peinture Belge is a group of young Belgian painters, it also means The Young Belgian Painting. The style of the members varies from post-expressionism to geometric abstraction. The group united on the basis that they were young in the period after the Second World War and not because of style characteristics. The rationale of the group is the democratic principle that everyone should be given the opportunity to have their own opinion.
