The Drenthe Painters

Shortly after the Second World War, a number of painters from Drenthe decided to unite to exhibit and sell paintings together. After a few months, the first painter left the group. There were many disagreements regarding the quality of the works. After the De Drentse Schilders were dissolved, the Drents Schildersgenootschap was founded.
