Cultural Council South Holland

Cultural councils were established in all provinces in the 1950s, which initially formed advisory bodies. Later, they were increasingly used for support and project organization. The Cultural Council of South Holland was an advisor to the province and supported the field of professional and amateur organizations. Ultimately, the South Holland Cultural Council merged into the Kunstgebouw foundation. Kunstgebouw supports primary schools municipalities in the province of South Holland to offer quality cultural education. In addition, Kunstgebouw works to promote the expertise of and cooperation between primary schools, municipalities and cultural institutions.
