Herman ZAALBERG (II) (Zoeterwoude-Dorp 1935)
Herman Zaalberg is the eldest son of Meindert Zaalberg. In his younger years he received internal training from his father at the Potterij Zaalberg. From 1965 he has his own pottery in Leiderdorp. Many of Herman's designs were manufactured as series products at Potterij Zaalberg. He also kept himself busy with unique items. Of note are the long, narrow-necked bottles he produced. In the 1970s he started making interlocking dishes and bowls covered with a white glaze.
