Auguste BROUET Born in Paris in 1872 in a fairground environment, he spent his childhood with circus performers. He forms himself as a graphic artist and draftsman. His more than 300 etchings are mainly about the markets in Paris, circus and funfair life and picturesque figures from city life. He is one of the leading graphic artists of the first half of the last century. Brouet died in Paris in 1941.
